Busy

In General on March 9, 2010 at 11:59 pm

It’s been a very busy start to the week here in CityRetail world.  Here’s a taste of what I have been / will be working on this week:

  • Exploring a handful of projects with Michael Staub, a key CityRetail “smart partner.”  I’ll write more about Michael in a later post and give him the proper intro.
  • A new leasing assignment in Technology Square o/b/o Alexandria Real Estate Equities: 2,577 sf of built-out restaurant space; was previously La Molisana, a fast order Italian food concept.
  • Drafting Tenant Representation Agreements, as we’ll officially launch Tenant rep business soon.
  • Working with team on phase I CityRetail website and new signage packages. Here’s our logo:

  • Persevering on restaurant and coffeehouse deals that have been teetering on completion since 2009.
  • Began work with exciting urban market and are looking at a couple potential sites in Kendall.
  • Dave and I have been getting CityRetail set up on basecamp (online project management tool) to share files, reports, to dos, etc. with clients and partners.
  • Presenting with Alex Twining, CityRetail and Twining Properties CEO,  to other Kendall land owners re: further developing Kendall retail and doing some related master planning.
  • Bringing RODE Architects, a smart partner, onto the team for the planning and programming phase for remaining 4,600 sf of leasable retail on the first floor of the Watermark.
  • Trying to keep this blog fresh and relevant…
