500 Tech Square. 2577 sf.

Last week CityRetail officially started a new assignment for Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. at Technology Square in Kendall.  This project is unique from all of our other leasing assignments to date in that the space is already built out as a restaurant.  The next tenant needs to make the space its own, no doubt, but to have electrical, kitchen exhaust, HVAC, bathrooms, equipment, etc. already in the Premises makes for a very attractive opportunity.  The space is an end-cap in a small strip of retail that overlooks Main Street and the green public space between the 500 and 300 Technology Square buildings.  All equipment remains from the prior operator, the Premises has outdoor seating and the windows/frontage is great.  2,577 square feet:

  1. […] I walk Main Street in Cambridge a lot, especially now that we are working on an assignment in Technology Square. On a recent walk from Kendall to Central Square it struck me just how amazing, unique and […]

  2. I just want to add a comment about a streetcanvassing company in boston. They wear shirts that say streetcanvassers.com This company is always giving away free coupons around Cambridge and Ive seen them in Copley sq as well. Anyhow we work in tech sq in cambridge and we used to see them giving out coupons to our favorate restaurant called THE MEXI CALI. We are wishing you see this so we can say please come back with more coupons to MEXI CALI and please send the handsom guy from before.

  3. Update: Area IV, a Michael Leviton (Lumiere in Newton) restaurant, will open in this space in Spring 2011. Concept is italian and pizza out of wood burning stove and attached cafe and bakery. It will actually be in closer to 4,500 sf, as we also leased the adjacent space for this use.
